0 comments Since returning from Uganda I have had the privilege of preaching in two churches, one in Carmarthen and the other in Ebbw Vale. In Carmarthen not only did we see two salvations, Praise God, but also a number of people reported they had been healed. On the same day I preached in Ebbw Vale and again there were reports of healings taking place in the service
Whilst in Uganda I experienced numbers of people being healed and of course if you read my last Blog, I met a young girl of seven who had been raised from the dead. This did my faith a great deal of good and as a result I am praying in meetings more powerfully and with more determination than I have for many years and God in His mercy is answering those prayers.
As I shared in both churches on Sunday, in Uganda they cannot afford doctors or drugs etc so they have no alternative other than to rely on God. In the UK we have it so easy in comparison that our faith is in doctors and drugs rather than God. I am not suggesting we forget the doctors and medical treatment but when it isn’t working we need to use the faith we have been given and claim our healing. God’s healing power is not stronger the nearer you get to the equator, it’s just the same here as in Uganda, what is lacking is not God’s strength but our faith.

0 commentsI have just returned from Uganda and my final days out there were the highlight of my visit. In total I ran three business training programmes, preached at four services and did six radio broadcast. God guided me and helped me all the way and I certainly needed the Holy Spirit to give me wisdom and guide me.
On the last Sunday there I visited another church pastored by Paul Musisi in the Kagala Hill Wakiso district about 12 miles out of Kampala. The church was founded by Paul five years ago. The district it is in was a centre for witchcraft for over 400 hundred years and the hill was infested with over 2,000 snakes. Paul and his team started a 90 day prayer season and at the end of 90 days on a Friday evening the physical fire of God fell from Heaven and every snake left the hill; drivers on the road spoke of seeing hundreds of snakes trying to escape. The hill was cleared and Paul was able to plant his church there.
God has truly blessed them. Two people came by one day, Paul doesn’t know where they came from or what their names are and they have not been seen since but they left about £100,000 for the work. Paul was able to build the church, a large school and rooms and houses for orphans. Today they have over 700 children receiving an education where there were no facilities, 300 of the children are orphans. They have built 7 houses for widows who then have 7 children each to look after and the church provides all their food plus they look after about 50 other orphans and feed nearly 500 children every day.
As we arrived at the church the first person pointed out to me was a seven year old girl. She had been involved in an accident five weeks ago and was killed. For two days she lay in the mortuary and on the second day was brought in a plastic bag to be buried. They had been praying for her and even at the last moment were still praying for her. God answered their prayers and she started to move in the bag. They released her and when I met her there wasn’t a mark on her; totally restored.
What a mighty God we serve and this changes your life and challenges you when you see God’s power at work. I met Paul on the Monday and he reported many in his congregation were healed during the service and ten people gave their life to the Lord.
Come on Lord, do it here in the UK

0 commentsToday I preached at the 5.0am prayer meeting to about 2,500 people and once again there was amazing worship. They seemed to like what I shared with them and there was a great response. Later I did a 30 minute live radio broadcast sharing business advice as part of a six part series. As I was leaving the church I spotted a poster advertising my previous day’s training programme stating “Theme: How to succeed the God-Way
Lecturer Professor Paul Bangs – UK (Economic Advisor to the Queen of England)”
I’m not sure if this is a promotion from my Bishop status.
The children at Ty Cariad children’s home are adorable and were so excited today as we unpacked all the clothes and toys we brought out to them; six large cases of them.
The money I was given to bring out has already been put to good use. £500 towards the new building which starts this week, 24 new mosquito nets for the children, a bed chair and table for the security guards room; he only had a mattress on the floor, so thank you so much for all your gifts.

11 commentsI am now well and truly in Uganda, the weather is hot but with very heavy showers as it is the rainy season. We are all being well looked after and the food and our digs is excellent.
Today was the first day I used my training programmes which were received with real enthusiasm. I now have my programme for the remainder of my time over here. I will be doing a 30 minute radio broadcast for the next six days. Tomorrow (Wednesday) I will be preaching at the early morning prayer meeting which will be attended by over 3,000 people. On Friday and Saturday I will be running two four hour training sessions and then on Sunday preaching at two services, the first starting at 7.0am
Please pray for God’s blessings on all meetings

0 commentsLast night Mary was praying for me and had a picture. She observed I was walking down a passageway and as I walked doors to the right and left would open for me. I did not cause them to open but they were being opened for me from the inside and I was being invited into the rooms.
She felt that the Lord was saying that previously when I have ministered in other countries, I have taken God’s light into dark places but in Uganda I will be going into a light place but I will be invited into some places that are still dark to take the light of the Lord into. Also I will take more light to Uganda, which is already a light place, but that I will return to Wales and the UK with that light.
I have already prayed that I will bring back to the UK the light that is in Uganda and this picture was a confirmation that God will answer that prayer. I believe strongly that God will bless people in Uganda through me but that I will also receive a mighty blessing to bring back to the UK.
All glory and praise be to Him who is able to meet our every need and do more than we can ever imagine. Amen

Paul Thomas and team of seven are going to visit Ty Cariad children’s work in Uganda. Pray that there will be no problems with their flights and that the building project will go smoothly. Pray also for those who are going to Uganda for the first time that they will have a great experience, pray that God will be glorified through all that the team does.
