One strike and out

British Airways have published the strike days and yes, my flight to Uganda is in danger. Please pray that it goes ahead.
Last Wednesday evening Mary and I had dinner with Pastor Joseph and his wife Freda along with Paul and Jan Thomas who built the orphanage. What a privilege to spend time with this very humble couple. Pastor Joseph has a church of over 10,000 in Uganda, has planted 500 other churches and ministers to thousands of other ministers as well as running a five station radio service. And yet he still finds time to come to Wales to minister. He has asked me to speak at a number of one day business conferences as well as minister at various church prayer and other meetings. This is a wonderful opportunity and I am humbled by such a request.
The curry evening was a great success and we raised over £200 for the orphanage. I have also been given further gifts bringing the total to about £800 which will go a long way towards their £9,000 target to build a new house for the older children. I have also been blessed with an amazing selection of children’s clothes to take out with me; I really do appreciate all the help I have received and thank all those who have donated money or clothes. There is still time to donate further money so don’t be shy.
All we need now is an aircraft to take us there and allow us to get on with the work we all want to do. I will update this blog as often as I can with the latest news from Uganda as we minister out there.
