Join our curry night

Preparation for Uganda

I have had all my injections and I have my visa and ticket, so I’m ready to travel at the end of March (BA cabin crew strikes allowing).
I made a presentation to my church today and over 40 people have signed up to support our curry night at the Veranda Indian Restaurant in Llanelli town centre on Monday the 8th at 7.30pm. Each person will be charged £10.0 for their meal and £5.0 of that will go to the charity. In addition, so far I have received gifts of £170 for the charity and many have agreed to supply me with good quality children’s clothes to take with me.
My preparation for ministering out there is going well and I believe that God will ensure that I say the right things in the right meetings and we will see His glory shine and many people saved and healed. It is His ministry not mine, I am just the channel that He will be using whilst there and He will have all the glory. I pray it will be His words and His actions not mine.
I am excited at the prospect of going. In this month’s Elim Direction magazine, there is a feature article on Pastor Dr Joseph Serwadda who is the leader of the church where we are staying. He leads a church of 10,000, has planted over 500 other churches, has his own radio ministry and has favour with the government of Uganda, it will be amazing to spend any time with him and in his church and very humbling to be offered the opportunity to minister at some of their meetings. I can only rely on God to help me to bring something to them which will bless them but my guess is it will be me who is blessed and I will come home a changed man. My prayer is that will be the case.
